Job Description

Position: Accounting & administrative assistant (Temporary position) Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Pay: $25-$30/hourly, depending on experience.
Summary:
Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a nonprofit organization. FCSN's mission is to help individuals with special needs and their families find love, hope, respect, and support through integrated community involvement. The finance & administration department is seeking a full time accountant/bookkeeper.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Input and maintain all AP/AR data in Quickbooks
Process invoices and check request, ensuring approval with support documentation
Record, balance and deposit all receipts
Update and maintain registration, volunteer and membership systems
Order office supplies
Provide support to the finance & administration team
Complete special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
A.A. or B.A. in accounting preferred
Experience with QuickBooks
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A self-starter with the proven ability to initiate and follow through on projects.
Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
