Position Summary:
Empire Landscape seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to assist the accounting team with daily financial tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, and maintaining organized financial records.
Help manage Accounts Payable (AP) by reviewing invoices and preparing payments.
Perform weekly filing of financial documents and maintain organized accounting records.
Enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
Support the accounting team with basic reconciliations and administrative tasks.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
This internship requires in-office work on Wednesdays to assist with weekly filing and accounting tasks. Additional hours may be flexible depending on workload and availability.
