Are you a skilled Arabic interpreter based in US looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity?We are seeking talented individuals proficient in  Arabic and English to join our team of international interpreters. As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between  Arabic and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in  English and Arabic
• Based in US
• Minimum 3 year of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client

Technical Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection
• USB wired headset
• Windows 10 or Mac

Your responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology)
• Participate in internal professional training
• Communicate and report to your team leader
