Job Description

• Perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce commercial aircraft interior components, specifically focusing on premium class furniture for commercial aircraft.
• Work within the constraints of the master production schedule to meet customer requirements.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of assembly or production experience.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.

Available Shift Schedules:

1st shift: 6am-2:30pm

2nd shift; 3:30pm12:00am

Must be flexible to work a lot of Over-time.

They are working 9-10 hours/day Monday-Friday

*Must be comfortable working with hand and power tools

*Seeking candidates who want a long-term career

*$17 - $17.50

Responsibilities

• Follow installation procedures per blueprint and engineering drawings.
• Mix and apply adhesives according to manufacturer specifications.
• Apply silicone sealant as required.
• Place parts in specified relationships to each other.
• Verify unit dimensions before installing inserts, rivets, blind nuts, blocks, angles, doublers, and fittings.
• Bond, screw, rivet, or otherwise attach parts together.
• Drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts as required.
• Install attachment fittings as assigned.
• Prepare and organize tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area.
• Requisition parts as needed from the stockroom.
• Ensure work orders and traceability books are maintained and completed throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Maintain safe and effective use of all machine and hand tools, as well as a safe work environment.
• Report any defects to quality assurance and manufacturing engineers.
• Promote cooperation and positive communication with co-workers.
• Pick up and remove scrap from work areas.
• Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in assembly processes.

Work Environment

Work in a very large, clean manufacturing environment producing interior products for Boeing 737 aircrafts, including galleys, closets, lavatories, floor panels, class dividers, and sidewalls.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seal Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
