Job Description

We are seeking United States–based, board-certified Medical Doctors with relevant specialty certifications and a minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice experience. The physician will independently listen to doctor-patient conversations and create high-quality clinical notes as part of their normal clinical workflow, utilizing standard templates and documentation practices commonly used in U.S. healthcare settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to U.S. medical documentation standards.

Participants will:

  • Independently write comprehensive and accurate clinical notes
  • Utilize specialty-appropriate documentation templates (e.g., SOAP, H&P, progress notes, discharge summaries)
  • Ensure clinical documentation meets U.S. standards of care, medical accuracy, and completeness
  • Apply clinical reasoning consistent with board-certified physician practice
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
  • Incorporate specialty-specific terminology, diagnostics, and treatment plans appropriately
  • Complete documentation in a timely and efficient manner

Purpose:

The goal of this project is to understand how physicians naturally document patient encounters across different specialties, practice settings, and documentation styles.

The clinical notes collected will be used to analyze variation in structure, language, and clinical reasoning so that documentation tools can be evaluated and improved to better reflect real physician workflows.

Important: Notes are used for research and product improvement purposes only—to help ensure future clinical documentation technologies are accurate, useful, and aligned with how physicians actually practice.

Main Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD or DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active U.S. medical license (any state)
  • Board certification in one of the following: Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, ENT, Gastrointestinal, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, OBGYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Pediatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Urology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of independent clinical practice experience post-training
  • Current knowledge of U.S. clinical workflows and documentation standards
  • Experience using standard clinical note templates and formats
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Adherence to all applicable federal and state healthcare regulations
  • Commitment to patient privacy, data security, and ethical medical practice

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
  • Background in telemedicine, utilization review, clinical documentation improvement, or medical content creation is a plus
  • Multi-state licensure is a plus
  • Experience working independently or in remote clinical roles is a plus
  • Clinical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong documentation and medical writing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with evidence-based medicine
  • Time management and reliability
