Location: Field-based (80-90% travel across all corners of New Jersey; remainder remote)

Position Type: Full-Time / Field Marketing

Overview

Hamilton Farms is seeking a Brand Ambassador to join our team. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face and voice of our cannabis brand. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and the broader community. This position is ideal for those with a background in marketing or communications who are eager to start their career in the rapidly growing cannabis industry.

We are a small business with a vibrant start-up environment. Because you will be an early and crucial member of our team, we are looking for a self-motivated individual with a contagious positive attitude. This role offers an incredible ground-floor opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and directly help shape our future marketing efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive Brand Awareness & Sales: Spread the Hamilton Farms message and drive via high-impact field marketing activations and direct customer engagement.

  • Event Ownership: Take full ownership of Hamilton Farms’ branded pop-ups and represent us at various events, both in-person and virtual, including trade shows, community events, and product launches.

  • Product Expertise: Maintain a high-level understanding of our product lineup and clearly communicate product benefits to both dispensary wholesale accounts and retail customers.

  • Content Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and create engaging content for digital and print media, including blog posts, social media content, and newsletters.

  • Community Building: Forge and maintain authentic relationships with local businesses, industry influencers, and community organizations across the state.

  • Feedback & Insights: Collect and analyze feedback from consumers to help us continuously improve our products and services.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about cannabis industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.

Growth Opportunities Available

We believe in promoting from within. As you master the core role, you will have the immediate opportunity to scale your skills by:

  • Developing and executing your own creative marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and consumer engagement.

  • Taking the lead on digital customer engagement, managing social media platforms, responding to inquiries, and actively promoting our products online.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A background or strong interest in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Basic cannabis knowledge with a passion for the plant and the industry.

  • Must love the road: Ability and willingness to travel 80-90% of the time to all corners of New Jersey (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).

  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a remote/field environment.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

  • A positive, resilient attitude well-suited for a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Note: This position will require working 40 hours per week including working nights, weekends, and some holidays.
