Diversified Transfer & Storage is looking for Over-The-Road drivers to be based out of Aurora, Colorado. We are a family business that operates nationwide, delivering reefer LTL. Our Aurora facility is conveniently located off of I-70 and is equipped with 22 dock doors, lots of parking, and a dedicated team of warehouse personnel to get you loaded and unloaded on time. Our trucks are all newer models, nothing over 2 years old, and have upgraded packages to keep you comfortable. At DTS, you can be assured that you are treated with respect and that your time is valued. We are here to assist you with your needs on and off of the road 24 hours a day. Whether you need to speak to the owner, another driver, a mechanic or dispatcher, we will be there.
Job Requirements:
~Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Guidelines.
~The applicant must be at least 23 years old.
~The application must be completed in entirety.
~Must consent to a 10-year check on work history. Any gap of 30 days or more must be indicated and explained, you may be asked to provide documentation. Discrepancies may prevent your application from being processed and the job offer then withdrawn.
~Minimum of two years verifiable driving experience in “like” vehicles.
~Current CDL with proper endorsements.
~Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
~Must pass a skills/physical test to ensure the applicant can perform the requirements of the job safely.
~Must pass a pre-hire Department of Transportation (DOT) substance screening.
Operational Requirements:
~Obtain Tanker endorsement within 5 months of hire.
~One Year LTL/multi-stop experience.
~Three-year reefer experience.
~Preferences (DTSI Only).
~One-year LCV experience or be LCV certified within 6 months of date of hire.
~Obtain hazmat within 5 months of the date of hire.
