Job Description

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Carmichael, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel COTA experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, and geriatrics preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Shift Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Average scheduled hours: 35 per week.
• Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
