Job Description

What You'll Do

• Safely operate an Amazon-branded delivery van ( company vehicle provided—no personal vehicle required ).
• Deliver Amazon packages safely and on time.
• Use a company-provided handheld device for navigation and delivery completion.
• Load and organize packages before your route.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and leadership.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physically demanding position.

Delivery Associates must be able to:

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds .
• Occasionally maneuver larger packages using proper lifting techniques and equipment when applicable.
• Repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the day.
• Walk long distances while making deliveries.
• Climb stairs as required by delivery locations.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Work safely in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Maintain a consistent pace throughout a 10-hour shift while meeting safety and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age .
• Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Have a satisfactory motor vehicle record. Multiple driving violations may disqualify applicants.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Successfully complete any pre-employment drug screening required for the position.
• Be able to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and fellow team members.
• Be willing to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

No delivery experience? No problem. Paid training begins on Day One.
