We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Supply Chain department. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a Driver 3, the hours are 6 am - 2:45 pm.

Shift : ALL

Security Clearance : No Clearance

GUILDELINES FOR DRIVER

JOURNEYPERSON 4 (Driver)

• Must meet all Journeyman 3 Driver requirements

• Must have the ability to provide on-the-job training to other drivers as part of their upward progression
• Must have Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of a minimum of eight thousand (8,000) hours/ or four (4) years continuous safe work history

JOURNEYPERSON 3 (Driver)

• Must meet all Journeyman 2 Driver requirements
• Must hold a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, also have "P" endorsement
• Must have OQE of a minimum of six thousand (6,000) hours/ or three (3) years continuous safe work history
• Must be able to operate any combination of vehicles with a Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) of 26,001 pounds or more if the vehicle being towed has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of more than 10,000 pounds. This group would include, but is not limited to, tractor-trailer forty (40) foot, forty-eight (48) foot trailers and roll on/roll off Blast Grit Dumpster Truck
• With Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License may also operate same vehicles as Driver 1 and 2

JOURNEYPERSON 2 (Driver)

• Must meet all Journeyman 1 Driver requirements
• Must hold a valid Class “A” or “B” CDL with HAZMAT (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements
• Must have OQE of a minimum of four thousand (4,000) hours/ or two (2) years continuous safe work history
• Must be able to operate any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more or towing another vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less. This group includes, but is not limited to, straight flatbed trucks and any truck towing less than 10,000 pounds
• With a Class “A” or “B” Commercial Driver’s License may also operate same vehicles as Driver 1

JOURNEYPERSON 1 (Driver)

• Must hold a minimum valid Class “C” CDL, including required Medical Card with HAZMAT endorsements issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Must have clean driving and criminal record
