Pay Range: $19.30 - $19.30 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the driver is responsible for transporting, counseling and transporting staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma
• Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver’s License.
• General knowledge of auto mechanics is preferred with the ability to operate a Winnebago-type vehicle safely.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and days.
• Must be willing to travel into the community of Hudson County.

Preferred:

• 2–3 years experience
• College degree  

Scheduling Requirements  

• Shitt: Days
• Time: 7:00am – 3:00pm
• Status: PartTime
• Hours: 24hrs.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for transporting Counseling and Testing staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.
• Responsible for scheduling and maintenance as needed.
• Responsible for keeping the van clean.
• Responsible for keeping daily mobile van logs.
• Attends bi-weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings.
• Assists with coordinating van repairs.
• Responsible for completing daily mobile van cleaning.
• Maintain a safe environment during all outreach events.
• Maintains communication with all agencies for parking purposes.
• Complies with unit and departmental scheduling guidelines.
• Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, ie, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas in mobile van.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
