A highly respected mechanical contractor is seeking an
Electrical Estimator for a direct hire role in the
Greater Boston area . This opportunity places you at the center of the preconstruction process, where you'll develop detailed electrical estimates and proposals, working closely with internal teams and vendors to drive accuracy, competitiveness, and project success.
The ideal candidate has proven electrical estimating experience within commercial or MEP construction, execellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A related degree and proficiency in Bluebeam and ConEst are preferred.

responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual through detailed electrical estimates across all project phases
- Review drawings and specs to identify scope, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with MEP teams to deliver complete, coordinated proposals
- Partner with PMs and field teams to validate scope, schedules, and constructability
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 4+ years of electrical estimating experience (MEP preferred)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and ConEst
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
