Job Description

Zeitlin's Delicatessen is a Jewish Deli that uses the city of Chicago as our inspiration. Started by two brothers, Zeitlin’s focusses on classic Ashkenazi Jewish cuisine using local produce, grains, and ingredients.

We are actively looking for Front of House team members that appreciate beverage/coffee service in a quick service environment.

Responsibilities:
Serve as expo and Food Runner during breakfast and lunch service
Provide friendly and efficient customer service in a QSR style restaurant
Take customers orders and accurately process transactions.
Prepare and serve drip coffee and espresso beverages (barista experience preferred, comprehensive training provided).
Accurately interpret production orders and print invoices for third party deliveries
Assist with stocking and displaying retail items.
Work with Front of House manager to communicate work flow.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Reliability and punctuality EARLY MORNING and WEEKEND SHIFTS 
Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain).
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Desire to grow a small business
