Forklift Driver

Forklift Operator needed in Brooklyn on 1st shift. Paying $16/hr. Responsible for safely operating a forklift to support daily production and warehouse operations.

Forklift Driver Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:30pm )

• Supply raw materials and products to production lines.
• Remove finished goods and store properly.
• Coordinate with Production Manager and line leads to meet customer specifications.
• Perform and document daily forklift inspections.
• Complete production logs accurately
• Inspect products for correct labeling and appearance, report and correct issues.
• Assist with additional tasks (sorting, production support, moving materials).
• Support shipping and receiving as needed.

Dress Code: 

• No jewelry - that included facial piercings, earrings, necklaces, rings (except plain wedding band)
• No fake nails or nail polish
• No false eye lashes or eye lash extensions
• No leggings, shorts, capri’s or tank tops. 
• No sequins on clothing. 
• Closed-toed, non-slip comfortable shoes (Footwear must be clean, with no holes)

Forklift Driver Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
• HS Diploma/GED Required
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting on Forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-75lbs at times. 

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
