Our Advanced Gas Operations (AGO) division provides dedicated service to our gas customers. We are looking for individuals to join the AGO team who consider themselves problem solvers take pride in public safety and thrive in a fast-paced exciting work environment. If youre looking for growth weve got you covered. We provide a quality training program and opportunities for advancement. No prior locating experience is needed but previous industry experience is a plus and will be considered when determining starting pay.

Our technicians spend their workdays on the go independently working in the field using their company-provided vehicle. We use best-in-class ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete mark-out services for the excavator or property owner at the work site.

Your Responsibilities as a Locator:

• Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines in a designated areaand mark the area with paint and flags to prevent damage to utility hand digging to unearth gas lines may be required.

• Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure.

• Follow all company client state and federal damage prevention guidelines.

• As a technician in our Advanced Gas Operations division you may locate otherutilities in addition to gas lines depending upon the project to which you areassigned.

These are daytime full-time positions. We have a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates which means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends as needed. Must be able to work overtime weekend shifts and on-call shifts (including nights and weekends) dependent upon the needs of the business.

What We Need from You (Our Requirements):

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus.

• Available to work overtime weekends and on-call shifts as needed.

• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.

• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).

• Valid drivers license and a safe driving record

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bendand stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.

• Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.

• Proficiency with technology

• Able to read understand and reference locate tickets as well as maps and prints; possess basic math skill to calculate distances.

• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues customers contractors and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus.
