Gas Service Technician II
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Service Technician II to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation maintenance and repair of gas systems and appliances in residential commercial and industrial settings.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas lines meters regulators and related equipment.
- Test and verify the integrity of gas systems ensuring proper operation and safety standards.
- Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and safety precautions.
- Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or similar role with a strong understanding of gas systems and safety protocols.
- Valid gas technician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Knowledge of gas codes standards and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting climbing and working in confined spaces.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
