Are you a highly organized professional looking to kickstart your career in the essential utility sector? We are looking for a Junior Onboarding Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for our incoming workforce.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between recruitment and active operations, ensuring every new team member transitions seamlessly into our utility construction projects. salary: $20 - $23 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding orientations for new hires including field
crews, and administrative staff - Prepare and maintain onboarding materials such as welcome packets, safety
manuals, and company policy documents - Ensure timely completion of new hire paperwork including I-9, W-4, direct deposit
forms, and E-Verify - Assist with scheduling drug tests, background checks, and other pre-employment
screenings - Communicate company policies, procedures, and benefits to new hires in a clear
and engaging manner - Enter and update employee information in HRIS and other internal systems
- Serve as a point of contact for onboarding-related questions and support during
the first 30-90 days - Collaborate with safety, compliance, and operations teams to ensure new
employees are field-ready - Help track completion of required training, certifications, and safety orientations
- Comfortable calling and speaking professionally to current and potential
employees - Assist in the daily workflow of the department
