We are seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support accounting operations, treasury activities, financial reporting and month-end close processes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional looking to develop a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with financial data in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and monthly bank and cash account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.

  • Prepare journal entries, including recurring entries, accruals, reclassifications and adjustments, with appropriate supporting documentation.

  • Support treasury operations, including wire transfers, cash activity monitoring and reconciliation of treasury transactions to the general ledger.

  • Prepare and maintain recurring financial reports, including cash position reports, account analyses, variance reporting and other management reporting requirements.

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and account analysis.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with internal controls, accounting policies and audit requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.

  • Assist with special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including debits, credits, general ledger accounting and financial reporting concepts

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis functions

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial data

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines in a team-oriented environment
