We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) . As a vital member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care to patients. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility and delivering high-quality patient care. You will be involved in a variety of anesthesia-related projects, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Manage and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the evaluation and assessment of patients' responses to anesthesia.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia procedures.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia practice.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in administering various types of anesthesia.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p

No call requirement

Cases: Orthopedics and sports medicine

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
