Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to work on-site with our client, a top-tier electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
11 paid holidays per year, available after 90 days of employment
Approximately 10 days of accrued PTO per year, available after 90 days of employment
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of custom automated test and mechatronic systems for customer-funded projects.
Working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through integration, validation, installation, and customer acceptance.
Highly hands-on role requiring expertise in automation, robotics, machine design, CAD, engineering analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
BSME, MSME, or equivalent engineering background
5-15 years of experience in:
Mechanical design
Automation
Robotics
Mechatronics
Machine design
Strong 3D CAD modeling and engineering documentation experience
Experience creating:
Detailed drawings
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Engineering documentation
Mechanical design analysis experience
Tolerance analysis
Mechanical FEA and/or thermal FEA
Ability to create basic electrical and pneumatic schematics
Hands-on assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and system validation experience
Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional engineering teams
U.S. Person status required
