BMT, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking qualified medical drivers for courier service to pick up and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages from a government agency on a scheduled routine route for a long-term contract. Individuals are responsible for providing their vehicle while maintaining customer interaction as they issue and receive confirmation receipts from customers to verify the transfer of goods . They are encouraging retirees and veterans to apply as well.

Qualifications

• The position requires a high school diploma/general equivalency diploma.
• Independent Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience.
• Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job is preferred.
• Applicants must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must have a clean criminal background and pass the company and government clearance process.
• Must be drug and alcohol-free.
• Dollies are required.
• Must be able to lift 35-70 pounds.
• Great with Navigational systems and maps
• Must have SUV or VAN like vehicle to carry up to 15 stackable locked bins.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable transportation to complete routes to and from facilities
• Able to work 10:30am to 3:30pm (estimated)
• Maintain company vehicle (cleanliness, fuel, and scheduled maintenance)
• Maintain an official record of delivery tickets and daily work log.
• Interact with government personnel and professionally represent the company.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Other duties as assigned.
