Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Architect to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle CPQ architecture, Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, enterprise integrations, and solution delivery across complex business environments.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, sales operations, product management, enterprise architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality Oracle CPQ solutions that streamline product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and order management processes.
Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture
- Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ solution architecture and technical design.
- Conduct business requirement workshops and convert business needs into scalable Oracle CPQ solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, and architecture documentation.
- Establish Oracle CPQ best practices, governance standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Oracle CPQ Configuration
- Configure product models, attributes, recommendation rules, and constraints.
- Develop and maintain BML scripts and BMQL queries.
- Configure Commerce processes, pricing rules, discount structures, approval workflows, and quote templates.
- Implement Guided Selling and dynamic product configuration.
- Design customer-facing proposal and document generation templates.
Integration & Technical Delivery
Design and support integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise applications including:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Oracle EBS
- Oracle Order Management
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Salesforce CRM
- SAP ERP
Additional responsibilities include:
- Design and troubleshoot REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Collaborate with integration and development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Support middleware and enterprise integration architecture.
Testing & Production Support
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot Oracle CPQ configuration and integration issues.
- Review solution performance and recommend improvements.
- Provide production support and ongoing optimization.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and design reviews.
- Prepare effort estimates and technical recommendations.
- Mentor client teams on Oracle CPQ capabilities and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of overall IT consulting experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ Cloud implementation experience.
- Successfully delivered at least three full lifecycle Oracle CPQ implementations .
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
