Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, organizing, tracking, and monitoring solicitations, contracts, and grants
- Perform administrative review of proposals and manage evaluation documentation/files
- Enter/process information in internal databases and the Statewide Financial System (SFS)
- Coordinate evaluation logistics and streamline unit operations
- Maintain structured filing systems and update tracking spreadsheets
- Monitor shared email inboxes; communicate professionally with vendors, stakeholders, and staff
- Conduct research, proofreading, compliance checks, scheduling, and meeting notes
- Provide administrative support to the Bureau of Contract and Grants Management (CMU & GMU)
- Support leadership with research, special initiatives, and ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates welcome)
- Minimum 2 years of employment history (office experience preferred)
- Strong comprehension and interpretation skills for complex written materials
- Excellent writing, analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to learn new software quickly, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
