Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Picker/Packer who is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing electrical and automation components for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures that all customer orders are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and with a high level of accuracy while supporting overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders based on work orders, packing slips, and system instructions
- Verify product information including part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure order accuracy
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit and label shipments according to carrier requirements
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to process and track inventory and shipments
- Maintain organized inventory locations, including shelving, bin systems, and stock replenishment
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming materials
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory audits as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and customer service teams to meet daily shipping deadlines
