Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to play a critical role in a large scale enterprise transformation, migrating US Consumer and Small Business products from the legacy Triumph platform to MARS, a modern Accounts Receivable platform. This role is accountable for feature ownership, from discovery and requirement definition through build, validation, and migration readiness. The Product Owner will operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring complex capabilities are clearly defined, sequenced, and delivered with minimal risk to customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
End to End Feature Ownership Own the team backlog for assigned migration and journey based features, ensuring clear articulation of functional and non functional requirements aligned to migration goals and business outcomes.
Translate legacy Triumph capabilities into MARS ready requirements, identifying gaps, constraints, and opportunities for simplification or reuse.
Closely work with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to identify sound solution to meet business objectives.
Discovery & Requirement Definition Perform discovery across legacy systems, existing documentation, and SME inputs to define current state behavior and future state intent.
Drive analysis of complex capabilities into consumable, build ready features with clear acceptance criteria.
Ensure global and US specific considerations are clearly understood and documented. Cross Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, teams to ensure feasibility, alignment, and readiness throughout delivery.
Surface and manage cross platform dependencies, risks, and trade offs early and transparently. Refinement & Planning Excellence Lead refinement sessions and sprint planning discussions to ensure holistic understanding of impacts.
Continuously prioritize and sequence work based on capacity, risk, and business/feature value.
Stakeholder Communication & Accountability Manage expectations and explain trade offs in a transformation environment where plans evolve due to architectural or contractual constraints.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in complex, enterprise scale environments.
Proven experience working on platform migrations, legacy to cloud transformations, or core system modernization initiatives.
Strong ability to translate complex business processes and technical constraints into clear, actionable product requirements.
Deep experience working in Agile / hybrid delivery models with distributed, cross functional teams.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in financial services, payments, lending, or Accounts Receivable platforms.
Exposure to large scale data, billing, posting, or terms management systems.
Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments where scope and sequencing may shift.
Experience leading discovery workshops, event storming, or journey based planning sessions.
