Your Impact:
  • Provide accurate and timely property evaluations to support loan origination and risk assessment
  • Ensure renovation budgets and pro formas align with market conditions and project scope
  • Play a key role in streamlining the underwriting process and supporting investor success
In This Role You Will:
  • Use House Canary and Richer Values to evaluate underwriting reports on recently sold properties in our portfolio areas
  • Analyze 5–8 real estate deals and 10–20 construction draws per week
  • Write and edit property evaluations for up to 140 loans per month within a 24-hour turnaround
  • Reconcile property costs before and after rehabilitation
  • Confirm budget accuracy across project types: new construction, cosmetic renovations, full gut rehabs, and multifamily (5+ units)
  • Validate renovation estimates for current projects and prepare estimations for upcoming ones
  • Analyze borrower-provided pro formas for larger projects
Requirements:
  • Construction and rehab knowledge
  • Background in single-family residential real estate
  • Experience evaluating Multi-Family Properties.
  • Understanding of market conditions and new property development
  • Strong adaptability to change and strategic company growth
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly analytical with strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with MLS or CoStar
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Self-starter with strong time management
