What Makes an Ideal EPIC Officer?
We are seeking service-oriented security professionals who understand that how you interact is just as important as what you protect. The ideal candidate brings a concierge mindset to the role: proactive, professional, courteous, and client-focused at all times.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Valid BSIS Guard Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs without restriction
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in operating a smartphone for site operations and reporting
- Willingness to work occasional overtime when requested
- Preferred:
- Prior experience in concierge, hospitality, customer service, or security patrol roles
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Frontline Customer Service:
- Greet clients, guests, and visitors; offer directions and assistance; maintain a helpful, solutions-driven demeanor.
- Patrol and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and inspect access points.
- Access Management:
- Enforce access control measures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Incident Reporting:
- Identify and report irregularities, suspicious behavior, and safety concerns promptly and accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Monitor and perform preventive maintenance checks on security equipment.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm professionalism.
- Fire Prevention and Safety:
- Support proactive site safety measures, including fire watch responsibilities when needed.
- Daily Documentation:
- Maintain detailed, accurate logs and reports.
