Job Description

The Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC / CSAC-S) provides comprehensive treatment for clients in the SA-IOP/PHP program under supervision.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and reviewing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and coordinating care with community resources.

Key duties involve ensuring services are evidence-based, maintaining accurate documentation, participating in team meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Required skills include strong knowledge of substance use disorders, effective therapy facilitation, case management, crisis intervention, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications include certification as a CSAC or CSAC-S, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least two years of substance abuse counseling experience. This is a full- or part-time, in-person role offering benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
