Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – School Health Room position in Lacey, Washington, US. Start date: 09/03/2026 for a contract through 06/17/2027. Weekly pay: $1,391–$1,511 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and basic first aid in the school health room for students with illnesses or injuries
- Triage and assess student health needs; determine level of care required and escalate to appropriate staff or emergency services when needed
- Maintain student health records and documentation in accordance with school policy and privacy requirements
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Follow applicable health guidelines, infection control practices, and district policies; support a safe school health environment
- Collaborate with school personnel to support students’ well-being and timely access to care

Requirements
- Current Washington Licensed Practical Nurse (WA LPN) license required
- Local candidates only
- Ability to work in a school health room setting (K–12) and interact with pediatric populations
- Availability for a Monday–Friday daytime schedule (8:50 AM–4:20 PM)
- ESA considerations: cannot start with pending ESA; client will not obtain conditional ESA, but may assist with expediting if applicable
- Background checks and clearances as required for school-based positions
