Responsibilities
- Perform 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging echocardiograms.
- Conduct stress echocardiography and contrast-enhanced studies as required.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret findings.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation .
- Adhere to ACR, ICAEL, and HIPAA guidelines for compliance and safety.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks .
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS or RCS through CCI required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
- Skills: Expertise in cardiac ultrasound technology and echocardiographic procedures .
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
