You earned your Class A CDL. Now it is time to put it to work. American Driver offers a structured path into professional trucking no prior experience behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle required. We provide the training the truck and the support to get you running solo.

Your First Weeks With Us

• Ride alongside a seasoned driver for 4 to 6 weeks of fully paid on-road training
• Handle real loads on real routes from the start no dry runs or empty miles
• Build confidence with ELD systems hours of service and pre and post trip inspections
• Collect a paycheck every week of training guaranteed
• Solo dispatch begins at $0.56 CPM once training is complete

The Work

• Dry van freight no touching the load
• Drop and hook makes up around 60% of your runs
• Steady Eastern freight lanes with year-round volume
• Target mileage of 2200 to 2500 miles weekly

What You Will Earn

• Starting pay at $0.56 CPM with performance-based increases
• Average weekly pay of $1200 to $1500
• Extra compensation for stops layovers and breakdowns
• $300 paid at orientation
• Six month pay review automatic
• Weekly direct deposit no waiting

Time at Home

• Home time available weekly or bi-weekly depending on freight and lanes

Your Truck

• Freightliner or Kenworth model year 2022 through 2025
• APU installed on every unit

What We Need From You

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 21 years of age
• 120 or more hours of training from an accredited CDL program
• Clean record no major violations in the past 3 years
• No DUI within the last 5 years
• Must clear a pre-employment drug screening
