Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to join our warehouse operations team in South San Francisco. In this hands-on role, you will support daily warehouse activities, including loading and unloading shipments, inventory management, export packing, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading

• Efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks and containers.
• Move materials manually and with warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ensure products are handled safely and accurately.

Export Packing & Casing

• Perform export packing and outer casing duties.
• Operate shrink-wrap machinery and other packing equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and record shipment dimensions for booking and transportation purposes.

Inventory & Material Management

• Maintain organized warehouse storage areas.
• Monitor inventory levels of packing materials and warehouse supplies.
• Assist with inventory organization and material staging.

Documentation

• Accurately prepare and complete warehouse documentation.
• Record shipment, inventory, and packing information.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.

Forklift Operation

• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Conduct equipment inspections as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or moving services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Experience building pallets and packing materials for shipment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and write in English to complete warehouse documentation.
