Job Description

Position Overview

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a creative and analytical Website & SEO Specialist to optimize our online presence and drive organic traffic to our website. This role will focus on enhancing our website's user experience, implementing SEO strategies, and utilizing analytics to boost search rankings and improve lead generation. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing and has a keen understanding of website management and search engine optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth
  • Optimize website content for SEO, including on-page and off-page elements
  • Implement website best practices for speed, usability, and accessibility
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve search rankings
  • Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blog posts and website copy
  • Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes to ensure best practices are followed
  • Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in website management and SEO
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz)
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (WordPress preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A portfolio showcasing past SEO successes is a plus
