PURPOSE:Yoder's Building Supply is one of the largest single-location building material suppliers in the country. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service. The right candidate will be dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person! DUTIES AND RESPONDSIBILITIES:Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential windows and doors.Identify operational issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality.Install, adjust, and replace door hardware.Replace glass and perform other window and door repairs as needed.Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer instructions.Communicate professionally with customers and provide outstanding service.Work independently to identify problems and develop effective solutions.Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment. QUALIFICATIONS:Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to use hand tools and perform basic repairs.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience with window and door installation, service, construction, or related trades is preferred but not required. WORK SCHEDULE:Monday – FridayStart Time: 7:30 AMTypical workdays average 8–10 hours.
