Job Description

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and controls. You will assist with deep electrical issues and rewiring of machines, demonstrating the ability to repair equipment. A thorough knowledge of AC/DC drives, motors, relays, sensors, switches, photoelectric devices, and related components is essential. Additionally, knowledge of PC hardware/software systems, including Microsoft, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Sick, and various OEM products, is required. Candidates must provide their own tools, although specialty tools will be supplied.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, drives, and controls.
• Assist with resolving deep electrical issues and rewiring machines.
• Repair equipment and ensure operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of AC/DC drives, motors, relays, sensors, switches, and photoelectric devices.
• Utilize knowledge of PC hardware/software systems, including Microsoft, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Sick, and various OEM products.

• 3 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motors.
• Experience with switches, control devices, high voltage, drives, and 480V, 3 phase motors.
• Mechanical knowledge in power transmission systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Ability to work with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

The work environment is a standard industrial setting, operating on a 9pm-5am shift from Monday to Friday, with some weekends required. The facility is clean and organized, although it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, AR.

The pay range for this position is $34.76 - $34.76/hr.
