We are seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time role based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This position provides comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, resourceful problem-solver with excellent communication and technological skills who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
You will work directly under the direction of our Founding Member and Chief of Staff and in close coordination with our Practice Coordinator team and the rest of the firm. You will be expected to work from our Washington, D.C. office with some remote work flexibility on a schedule to be determined between you and the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in supporting high-impact legal work in a law firm environment.
o Education: Bachelor's degree required.
o Experience: 2-10 years of administrative experience, which can include relevant internships and part-time roles.
o Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Clio, iManage, and/or other legal or billing software a plus.
o Key Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
o Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
o Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative demeanor.
The salary for this full-time role is in the range of $60,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package with health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as discretionary bonuses contingent on individual and firm performance.
