NJ Electrical Contractor is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator that has 10 years + experience. Preferable experience in union, healthcare and large commercial building experience..Data Centers , High rise, Mid Rise
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Develop detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and specialized sectors including Healthcare and Mission Critical Data Centers.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with project teams to review scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in AccuBid and LiveCount software is required.
- Proven experience estimating projects in Healthcare and Mission Critical Data Center environments.
- Must have experience in the New York and New Jersey market.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Must be able to report to our Florham Park, NJ office.
