About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN / LVN for a 13-week Long-Term Care contract in Hilo, Hawaii . This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in a hospital-based LTC facility, including medication administration, assessments, treatments, and assisting with daily living activities while collaborating with the healthcare team.
ResponsibilitiesPerform resident assessments and provide quality nursing care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident documentation.
Provide care for G-Tubes, urinary catheters, tracheostomies, CPAP, wound vacs, and nebulizer treatments.
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the physician or nurse practitioner.
Active Hawaii LPN License (or eligibility to obtain upon acceptance).
Current BLS Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required.
Must be flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Proof of current flu vaccination required prior to contract start.
