Job Description

MRI Technologist – 6am–2pm 

Join our outpatient imaging team in Charleston as an MR Technologist. Leadership experience and multi‑modality skills are a plus but not required for this role. This position offers a consistent 6am–2pm schedule. 

Location: 1975-H Magwood Road Charleston, South Carolina 29414

• Perform MRI scans efficiently and safely, including patient screening, positioning, monitoring, and image review.
• Administer contrast agents per regulations and document all procedures accurately.
• Maintain equipment, manage workflow, and ensure a safe, high‑quality patient care environment.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and accurate technique.
• Follow all MedQuest, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines; complete QA tasks and required training.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in continuing education and cross‑training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned 

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• CPR Certification is required

Prior Experience:

• 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Special Qualifications:

• IV skills required
• Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
• Skill in operation of MRI equipment
• Customer service background and focus
