Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. We offer a fast-paced, flexible, fun environment where you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and face new challenges every day.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will…

• Contribute to the development of high-quality full-stack software solutions that support Teradata’s Customer Developer Tools team.
• Build responsive, scalable, and interactive web interfaces while also supporting server-side logic and API integrations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side logic using Go, Python or nodeJS.
• Help enhance the performance, reliability, and usability of tools that impact customers and internal teams across the business.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers to design, build, and ship new features, contributing meaningful improvements to production systems.
• Grow your technical skills by debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and learning best practices for modern full-stack development.

• Are a collaborative group of developers focused on delivering tools and experiences that empower Teradata’s customers and internal engineers.
• Play a key role in building and maintaining the applications and developer tools that support the company’s broader data analytics ecosystem.
• Work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.
• This position reports to the engineering lead or manager within the Customer Developer Tools team.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Must be in the US for the duration of the internship.
• Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degree program, with a graduation date between, December 2026-June 2027.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with C++ or Go or Python or Node.js.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

What You’ll Bring

• Familiarity with Angular or similar front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience or interest in building AI or agentic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• A collaborative mindset and desire to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to impactful projects.

Pay Rate: $29.00 - $44.00 - $50.00 Hourly

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
