Job Title: Terraform Lead
Job Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid Louisville, KY
Experience Required: 8 12 years
Looking for a Terraform Lead to drive infrastructure provisioning for lift-and-shift migration to Google Cloud Platform, acting as the onsite lead for IaC and cloud setup
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform for Google Cloud Platform
Design and provision Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (VPC, Compute, Storage, IAM)
Support lift-and-shift migration of on-prem workloads to Google Cloud Platform
Collaborate with application, DBA, and DevOps teams Ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization
Guide offshore team and manage client coordination
Required Skills:
8 12 years of IT experience with strong Terraform expertise
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage)
Experience in cloud migration (on-prem to Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong understanding of networking and security in cloud
Nice to Have:
Google Cloud Platform Certification
Experience with multi-env
